Connecting with the Community at the California Overland Show

Last weekend we showed our gear at the California Overland Adventure Show at the Sonoma Fairgrounds. It’s a smaller show than Overland Expo, but in some ways that was perfect for us. The crowd was full of local adventurers, and we were excited to meet so many Rivian drivers from the North Bay looking for camping and overlanding gear.
Our Field Kitchen drew a lot of attention. It’s an especially great option for camping in areas with high fire risk. When conditions get severe, BLM rules can prohibit any open flame—even propane stoves. With induction cooking powered by your EV or a standalone battery pack, you can still make real meals instead of being limited to ready-to-eat foods.
We also had a great time catching up with Davy at the show on Sunday. He just released a new Walk Around of his Launch Edition R1T, and there’s a lot to see. He gave us a sneak peek at some updates he’s making to his Overland setup, but he’s still loving his Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Camp Kitchen.
We left Sonoma feeling inspired by the conversations we had and the community we’re lucky to be part of. Thanks to everyone who stopped by—we can’t wait to see where your adventures take you next.
