The Thunderbolt Overland Kitchen with Gear Sled is the perfect companion for your adventures. Constructed with powder coated aluminum and powered by your Rivian R1T, it features a dual burner induction cooktop, 4 rugged waxed canvas storage bags, and a collapsable sink basin. Most notably the kitchen folds open to unveil over 9 square feet of countertop space for prep! Heck, we even included a bottle opener for the chef! The kitchen is an amazing accessory not only for camping but also for tailgating!

Received my OKGS well packaged and with timely delivery. Unpacking and installation was a breeze. I was able to install the sled without a second pair of hands/muscle. Install directions were easy to follow and the components were just as easy to place on the sled. Stand by for part 2 as we christen the kitchen this weekend on a camping trip!

An Amazing Addition to my R1T
I’m absolutely thrilled to have my new Overland Camp Kitchen. I took it on my first camping trip up to the Berkshire Mountains last weekend and it performed beautifully! It’s very thoughtfully engineered and extremely well built. It installs very easily, I did it a alone in about 20 minutes. It slides in and out and sets up within seconds. It makes preparing food and cleaning up extremely easy as well as having the built in storage to hold many of the essentials necessary. I bought the Dometic electric faucet and 11 liter water reservoir, which is a great addition. Even though this isn’t an inexpensive item, you will soon realize that it’s well worth the money because of its very high quality construction. I put a coat of food safe wax over all the wooden surfaces (even though they’re already sealed) for added protection and all spills and splatters cleaned up without a trace.

I cannot speak highly enough of the gear sled and camp kitchen. The gear sled alone increases the utility and ease of getting from the Rivian to adventure, and with the kitchen on it has been the heart of every campsite and trip I’ve been on. It is so well designed, from the storage for cooking equipment to the induction cook top that kind of kicks my house’s stovetop’s butt. Get this, you won’t regret it.

I've had the kitchen for just about a year and used it a dozen times. It's super easy to set up (and I just put it back in the truck after storing it for the winter and it took five minutes to reinstall.) I like every element of the kitchen and everything works as well as advertised or better. I'm a huge fan and it makes camping and getting away for a quick weekend very easy!
R1T Camp Kitchen FAQs
The Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Camp Kitchen comes with an integrated two-burner induction cooktop. It is matched to the outlet in the Rivian and is equipped with load balancing so that it does not trip the outlet’s breaker.
The Gear Sled (without the Kitchen modules attached) can hold up to 200 pounds of total weight.
When the Kitchen Modules are installed on the Gear Sled, you can add about 100 pounds of additional gear in the cooktop and sink modules. You can also store a full water tank in the storage module.
All Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens are designed and made in California from the highest-grade marine-grade plywood available. Our internal Gear Bags are made in Washington State from waxed canvas.

We made installation truly simple - all you need are the provided bolts, a No. 3 Phillips-head screwdriver, and a shop towel. Please watch the YouTube video instructions. If you have any questions, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
The best part is that installation is not permanent. The kitchen modules are designed to be easily removed, providing full access to your gear tunnel cargo area when needed. And the Gear Sled can also be easily removed.
No. When mounted properly, Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sled and Camp Kitchen operate as a cantilever (extends horizontally and is supported at only one end).
We recommend you utilize the leveling function in your Rivian (found under Camp Mode). We tend to set our truck in Standard or High depending on the terrain of our campsite, and then initiate the leveling function. Once that is complete, the Camp Kitchen will be as level as your vehicle.
Yes, Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens are guaranteed from all manufacturing defects for the first year to the original owner. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by dropping, vehicular accidents/collisions, or using the kitchen in any way other than suggested by Thunderbolt Adventure Supply, LLC. Product failure or damage due to improper installation, use, or modification is not covered by this warranty. Full warranty details are included with all our products.
Thunderbolt Adventure Supply will accept return requests for purchases within the first 30 days after delivery. New, unused Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens in new condition and in their original packaging are eligible for a full refund less the cost of shipping and restocking fees.
Due to safety precautions, kitchens that have had the mounting hardware opened, installed, or attempted to be installed or have been mounted or attempted to be mounted to a vehicle cannot be returned.
All merchandise returned to Thunderbolt Adventure Supply must be in original packaging with all original items (e.g., manuals, stickers, mounting hardware, etc.) that came in the box.
Thunderbolt Adventure Supply charges a restocking fee for returns of undamaged and non-defective products. The restocking fee is 10% of the full cost of the item. The refund you receive will be net of the restocking fee, shipping expenses, and any applicable taxes.
Once a return request is approved, you will have 15 calendar days to return the item to Thunderbolt Adventure Supply.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
We ship to the Continental United States. Shipping charges are determined by your location. Items are shipped freight, and therefore cannot ship to PO Boxes.
