Three Years, One Sale, and a Lot of Miles

When we started Thunderbolt in 2023, our product line was a single camp kitchen made of plywood, assembled in a basement, and shown for the first time at a Bay Area Rivian Club Christmas party. We weren't sure if anyone would care. They did.

Three years later we're still at it — still designing gear we actually use, still testing it on trails we actually drive, and still pinching ourselves a little that this became a real company. The plywood gave way to aluminum. One product became a full lineup. Car and Driver called our camp kitchen "epic." And somewhere along the way we ended up in an Out of Spec video with Kyle himself, which we're pretty sure means we've made it.

None of it happens without this community. So once a year, we say thank you the only way that feels right.
