Meeting our customers where they play
The best part of Rivian events is the people. I know that sounds cliché, but it really is true. And the King of the Hammers event in Johnson Valley, California was no different.
When we arrived at the Optima Unplugged event, we were pleasantly surprised to see two customers, both of whom had selected to pick up their kitchens at our San Francisco shop. We had a ton of fun catching up and hearing about where they had taken their Rivians and Thunderbolt Camp Kitchens so far.
We also met folks who were super excited to add a Thunderbolt Adventure Kitchen to their setup. Josh and Kenny already have their camping game on point, but the addition of the R1S Adventure Kitchen will take to the next level. At risk of mixing my metaphors, we're taking them to 11.
But even more than that, I feel like we've made new friends in Josh and Kenny. Hanging around the campfire, making s'mores, chatting on the phone while they installed their kitchen. We've already promised to get together when ever we're in each other's neck of the woods. Rivian people are more than just a bunch of folks who drive the same kid of car. We're people who want to explore. People who are equally curious about the natural world and advancements in technology. We're people who want to play hard and then cap off the day with a delicious meal.
We can't wait to see what kind of adventure Josh and Kenny cook up next!
