Iterate, Improve, Repeat: What We’re Working on Now

If you’ve followed us for a while, you know that Matthew’s approach to design is iterative. He started with pink foam models, moved to scrap plywood, and eventually developed a product ready for market. From there, we transitioned our materials from marine-grade plywood to powder-coated aluminum and bamboo.

Matthew is working on a new iteration of the Gear Sled that we’re super excited about—but we’re not quite ready to share it yet. In the meantime, we’ve updated the induction cooktop we install in our kitchens. The new version features bridged elements. We’d already seen folks using rectangular griddles and grill pans on the original cooktop, and this new configuration makes that setup seamless.
